Circus Kumarani

A community-based organisation using circus, creativity and social arts to promote wellness and build connections.

We love getting all ages and abilities involved in circus arts and our circus community. We do this by teaching classes, holiday programs and hosting and performing at events. Everyone is welcome! One of our key focuses is being accessible to people with disabilities. Circus offers a wide range of opportunities that allow anyone to find an area of skills to enjoy! Our team of professionals create stunning community, corporate and private performances, as well as specialised workshops and events. We are based in Dargaville, Noprthalnd and are one of the longest running circus communities in NZ, established in 2003.

My name is Sonja Whitehouse.  I am a classical music teacher in Dargaville.  I completed a Bachelors degree in Music in 2007, specialising in classical singing, choral conducting and piano.  I am also registered as an Associate Member with the Institute of Registered Music Teachers in New Zealand.  I believe everyone is born with musical potential and I endeavour to provide my students with the highest quality of music education that will allow them to develop their potential, play with passion and ultimately love music for life.

Tika Pono Toi Gallery & Studio

Located in the CBD is the innovation of esteemed carver, Mark Lang, showcasing traditional and contemporary Maori carvings.
